Yes.A cup of stabilized rice bran supplement every day is included, unless you do not want it.We will also feed supplements you provide, but may ask you to pre mix them if they are very detailed.
2.I just rescued a horse, and she is very thin Ė can you help me with this?
Yes.We have had thin newcomers or rescue horses here before, and we know how to fatten them up safely. We do not charge extra for extra hay.
3.Do you have pasture boarding?
No.Each horse has itís own stall and paddock. The horses are out in their paddocks the majority of the time, unless it is raining, muddy, or the horse is on stall rest due to a medical problem.Stalls can also be used overnight if you have a show the next day, but healthy horses are better off outside in their paddocks.
4.Why canít I buy my own hay to be fed?
When individual boarders have different hay supplies, arguments can happen Ė someone took my hay, my hay is not being fed, etc.If you run out, we will have to feed your horse anyway, and this often happens at barns that allow this. Please feel free to examine our hay before you decide to board with us.
5.Why canít I feed and clean for my horse in exchange for reduced board?
In order to assure that all horses are well fed, and the barn stays clean, we take care of all feeding and cleaning. This way, every horse, paddock and stall is checked several times per day.
6.Can I work off part of my board?
No, see #5.Feeding and cleaning are best left to our professionals.
